Jason March just completed his fourth season as The Memphis Hustle head coach after spending three seasons (2016 - 2019) with the Sacramento Kings and nine seasons (2007 – 2016) with the Memphis Grizzlies.
In addition to his responsibilities on the bench, he prepared scouting reports and play diagrams for upcoming opponents. Prior to joining the coaching ranks in 2013, he worked in the Grizzlies video department for six seasons, last serving as director of basketball information and technologies. March’s experience also includes two seasons as the assistant video coordinator with the Phoenix Suns where he was part of a team that advanced to the 2006 Western Conference Finals and two seasons as head video coordinator with the Phoenix Mercury during the team’s WNBA championship run in 2007. A graduate of Florida State University, he earned his bachelor’s degree in education with a specialization in sports management.
Originally from Frostproof Florida, Jason March and his family have lived in Olive Branch Mississippi for twelve years. Jason and his wife, Barkley have two children, Oakley and Easton.
ABOUT US & OUR MISSION
The Jason March Hardwood Habits Basketball Camp is a summer camp for youth boys and girls grades 3rd-10th. We focus on the fundamentals of the game, preparation for live game action, while also developing elite skills. We cover almost every aspect of the game from nutrition to high performance offensively and defensively. We find it essential to have experienced guest speakers and staff. Camp 2022 included guest speakers from the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, an NBA Assistant Coach, and NBA player appearances. Also, Coach March spoke to campers about what it takes to be successful on and off the court. Our Mission is to show our local youth a wide range of many different experiences not only in sports but also in their communities. We take pride in giving our youth a positive uplifting environment while at camp, this will only excel each camper to stay focused and confident.

CAMP INFORMATION

The first day of camp begins on Wednesday, July 19th at 10 A.M.

Registration will be from 9:00 -10:00 A.M. Please arrive anytime within the hour to finalize registration and payment.

Drop Off Instructions: There will be signage directing you where to enter the gym.

Pick Up Instructions: You will be able to park in the same lot as you did for drop off. Please enter the gym to pick up your campers on time! We greatly appreciate it.

If I haven’t received them already, please bring your completed documentation (General Release Form and Registration Form) to the first day of camp. We will have extra forms at the gym as well. You may also email them to me: hardwoodhabits@yahoo.com. Emailing them ahead of time will make registration a smooth and quick process.

Each day the doors open at 9:00 A.M. we will start camp promptly at 10:00 A.M. Camp will end each day at 2:00 P.M. Camp staff will wait with campers until a parent/guardian picks them up. We would like to know if anyone other than the parents will be picking up your child.

Lunch will be provided every day. Campers are more than welcome to bring their own lunch if they would prefer. Please let a staff member know if your child has a food allergy.

There will be a small snack bar set up. If you would like to send money (cash only) with your camper he/she will have time to purchase snacks or bottled sports drinks from the snack bar. Water will always be available for our campers at all times to keep them hydrated at no cost.

The last day of camp is Friday, July 21st. We will conclude with an awards ceremony at 2:00 P.M.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!!!! We are still accepting campers! Please feel free to share our information with friends and family. We know kids enjoy attending camp with their friends and quite often it is more convenient for parents to car-pool, so spread the word!
We are looking forward to an outstanding week of camp so start practicing now. Summer is the best time to improve as a player.

Registration Cost: $145.00 per camper.

Registering Multiple Children: We do offer sibling discounts. 1 sibling cost: $120.00, please ask about multiple siblings. At payment you're responsible for adjusting the amount. If you have any questions regarding sibling discount you may contact camp staff before payment.
